Regarding the The Damn Yankee's guitar solo, I think the Nuge is just playing E-Major pentatonic which totally makes sense if they're in the key of E as the shape is played in the C-sharp minor pentatonic shape. Not sure why Tommy is surprised at that as it's a very common thing to do and he's an accomplished guitar…
