“We have to go back, Kate! To school, I mean.”
“We have to go back, Kate! To school, I mean.”
I don’t know why anyone keeps expecting people who often didn’t attend normal standardized school or secondary education (for something other than pretending) to have any kind of idea what the fuck is what when it comes to science.
I dunno. I feel like a roster of coming attractions makes actual sense as a slideshow versus clickbait listicles. On the other hand, the fact that a video will keep playing when I change slides infuriates me.
Nope was better on a second viewing (that opening sequence, *shudders*) but I would still put it a step below Get Out or Us. Which is fine, Peele is a major talent, not every movie Scorsese directed was Raging Bull.
Lake Tahoe has a year round population of 40,000. So I guess lots of people need that explained to them.
We need a random seven year old to dress up like Hawkeye and visit him.
Anya Taylor-Joy would make the best bond
Yeah, this is correct.
So, what I’m reading is “If you liked the first 2 seasons, you’ll like this”.
The thing is, there are also tons of examples of massive luxury developments that sit half-empty because the developers can’t fill them, and they refuse to lower the price. They can write off these losses on their taxes and thus have no incentive to make things more affordable.
I’m brave enough make the argument Noel and Sandi were the best hosting duo. I like Mel and Sue, but they settled on “food-based innuendo” as their comedy gimmick early on and never really moved on. Noel and Sandi were goofier and less predictable while maintaining a similar level of warmth—well, on Sandi’s part,…
Talk about a band looong overdue for a resurgence and some proper appreciation. Hell, there’s a huge chunk of eighties “college rock” that’d rock the hell out of a generation weaned on generic pop schlock. Get your freak on, kids.
Look at me with a straight face and tell me Pan’s Labyrinth isn’t good.
I think it generally means “the under-heralded glue that held it all together.” And that’s accurate.
Really sad about this one. McVie had an incredible voice and an amazing songwriting talent.
By which I assume you mean “the best songwriter”
Squirrel Nut Zippers’ “Christmas Caravan” includes the definitive version of “Sleigh Ride” in my book.
I maintain Love and Thunder improved on what Ragnarok did. Ragnarok had a few moments where the comedy undercut the drama, whereas Love and Thunder juxtaposed the two really effectively in my opinion.
I’m a big fan of Raknarok, and Love & Thunder is the most I’ve enjoyed anything from Marvel since the first Iron Man and Captain America: First Avenger. But a change in direction for Thor sounds good too.
I have never understood the love for this thing. Everyone’s character in it is utterly repulsive, with the exception of Martin Freeman and his romantic interest. It’s awful, and anyone who uses this movie as a measure for their grand romance has some really AWFUL ideas about relationships.
