The cast is getting too big and there’s only so much dialogue and plot they can farm out to the cast.

I saw the movie with my son today and the infamous “kiss” is one character being greeted by her spouse, child , and friends for their wedding anniversary (40th! God forbid Disney implies folk have long lasting marriages.) and the two partners exchange what at best is a quick peck.

And now Anne is continuing on with the books. I rather like what she has done. I would love to see this show. In the early 200os - Adam Beach played Chee in Skinwalkers/A Thief of Time/Coyote Waits.

Zahn McClarnon was also great in Longmire. He really fits the physical description of Chee in the books much better than Leaphorn though, who is kinda a big guy.

Not exactly a documentary, but the biopic about Darby Crash, What We Do Is Secret, is also an excellent watch.
