Did anyone else wish that Brainiac was screaming to be played by The Kids in the Hall’s Kevin McDonald, or is it just me?

As someone who is pretty anti-Christmas Story (the appeal of it is very much lost on me), I’ve got to say that I was pleasantly surprised, and ended up enjoying this much more than I thought I would.

I said to my wife while watching it yesterday that the “it did NOT taste good!” is the MVP line of the episode, followed closely by “That’s a lot of information to get in 30 seconds.”

Aside from The Simpsons, it’s most definitely the first 8 seasons of Friends (after Rachel had the baby, it’s pretty darn unwatchable). It’s the ultimate in comfortable, inoffensive, 90s TV. The Thanksgiving episodes can’t be beat, either: while I was cooking my green bean casserole as my dish to pass, I had “The One

You say that like it’s a bad thing.

I feel like there were actual episodes that were worse than this.

Pretty good return to Riverdale, I must say. I watched it with my wife and a friend (he had never seen it before, which made for some amusingly confused one-liners, my favorite of which was, “worst reaction to shower sex ever.”)

Intriguing. I’ll have to check this out after work. Thanks, Hulu!

Ah, yes, the rise of “Stupid Baby Voice” Rory. Did you forget how you made Rory speak for four seasons, Alexis Bledel?

I’m right there with you re: Arrested Development. I watched it haphazardly when it aired, even catching the “burn through the last 4 or 6 episodes” marathon Fox did to run out the series. It took a two herniated discs in my lower back, intense boredom, and a whole lot of pain pills until I caught on. In fact, I can

There’s another Sachar book, “The Boy Who Lost His Face,” that made high school seem very exotic and somewhat terrifying to a circa-5th grade led_zeppo. As I recall, it’s full of Sachar’s signature humor, but skewed a little older Wayside. Strangely, unless someone here pipes up, so far as I have been able to find

It’s definitely a little jarring, but that’s probably more due to the fact that Whitmire’s Kermit IS Kermit to me (I was only 7 when Jim Henson died). All in all, a very respectable performance that I’m sure we’ll all get used to.

I finally got around to reading this, finishing it up early last night. It’s surely a sign of a well written book that, even though I certainly knew what was coming, when I got to the part where Jim Henson died, I *SOBBED*.

I absolutely adore Clerks The Animated Series. It’s the thing I revisit of Smith’s the most by a wide margin.

Well, that went smoother than anticipated; much more so than the last time we had to do this. I may not need help reacting to this!*

Vanna's Choice from Lion Brand. It's pretty nice for an all synthetic yarn; I knit a Doctor Who scarf out of it.

Does this film contain anything about a young Scrooge McDuck finding the Goose Egg nugget of gold that made him his first million?

"DOO HOO HOO! How YOU doin', Poopsmith?"

Which one would wear the ridiculous stripe-ed pants? My money is on Ross.

It's more laughs then he got in Head Office.
