Check out this Marvel press release quote for the Legacy relaunch:
"No character, no franchise will be untouched by the game-changing events that play out across its pages."
I mean, at this point they are just trolling us right?

I've seen a lot of complaints for R2, but personally I've never been aware of any of the production issues and I really liked R2. Granted, it was a bit meandering and the initial premise felt a little forced, but most of it worked for me. Lelouch's betrayal of Rollo for example was excellent and quite devastating

If you get over your completionist urges you should be fine, each Epic Collection is pretty much self-contained ;)

Plus the art is pitch-perfect for the story

Yeah, they all look so great, and the prize is very reasonable for the amount of pages, it's so tempting!
I want basically all Avengers and Silver Surfer ones, some Daredevil ones, the X-Men ones, the classic Spider-Man ones…

I actually don't mind that much, I like that every one of these has an individual title that collects basically an arc, it's not like it's necessary to read them in order.

Oooohhhh, awesome, I didn't know that it was included in that one. Great, I was planning to get it anyways! I'm really loving these Epic collection reprints

Oooohhh, I gotta check that one out, I really like Typhoid Mary from her twisted and disturbing Deadpool appearances

Oh, sure, I'm not expecting that, I basically got all the information I needed in UXF… but I've been curious about AoA for a while anyways, and that just made me more interested in checking it out

If he just steals the suit and uses it it's awesome, but if he suddenly starts calling himself War Machine it would just be another one of the endless shitty editorial mantel-swapping moves

It's really quite weird how there was such a distinct art and writing-style during that period.
Oh, and I do own the Kelly Deadpool omnibus which is great

I mean, I'm familiar with the general gist of AoA, but reading the comics would probably make it easier to understand some nuances in Uncanny X-Force…
I think I'll get the omnibus as long as it's cheap, I never read comics in the 90's and almost read no 90's comics, so I'm not really biased against that dated style, it

IGN does regular single issue reviews, and from time they have an article that reviews like 20+ single issues, or that discusses some particular comic topic in general. The website overall is shitty, but their comic coverage is quite good.
For example, here's an article about the Marvel Legacy relaunch: http://www.ign.c

Does anyone know if Marvel will print a TPB containing the first part of the phoenix saga (#101 to #110)?

Finally got both volumes of Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender! I finished with vol.1 and it's really an awesome read that lives up to the hype. Awesome character work and writing combined with expressive and beautiful art with a more dark and somber palette and feel that's perfectly suited to the story, it's a

Best of my 2017 reads (which admittedly are few since I mostly read older stories)

It was cool and a visual treat, but completely unnecessary, unimaginative and pandering

I've got to re-watch Bebop, it's great but I only watched it once and I don't remember everything… and Samurai Champloo is sooooooo good, and also probably the funniest Anime I ever saw
(along with GTO)

Yes, I know that, it was supposed to be a joke because it's overused in both these movies… Anyways……………………
