Oh, right, that makes more sense, thanks! And damn, that is pretty dark for a throwaway line

Oh yeah, sure, Lemire's writing on OML is great and also important, but since overall it's been a pretty straightforward and simple tale with a lot of action I didn't think it was the most important part. He really does know how to write a rugged Wolverine in a world that's not his own though.

"Cheryl’s line about her mom walking into a door might be the casually darkest joke this show’s ever tossed off."

Yeah, that kind of sucks, I hope Lemire can do a wrap-up for his run and not leave it too open.
I guess I'll check it out after too, but with little hope. Although one of the mayor selling points of OML is the art and the panel layout for me (more so than the writing), so if they can keep that while maintaining some

Old Man Logan really has been great, though I'm still waiting for the next TPB to catch up. Is Lemire leaving or is the run ending or something? I've heard that Vol 5 is the last…

Yeah, the fact that Wonder Woman is so deeply rooted in Greek mythology makes for a character that's immediately more interesting and goes beyond the usual Superhero stuff, just as with Thor. I guess I'm just a sucker for these old mythologies too

THE GOOD

Yeah, I like Vin Diesel and he is great in certain types of roles, but charismatic really wouldn't be how I'd describe him

Hey, I haven't seen that one yet, is it worth it?

Well, not a mask, more like a cowl… you know, like in the comics? I feel like it works well for his character, since he is a silent and distanced leader being somewhat hidden makes sense

Agreed, Jackie had good chemistry with both

I associate Statham more with the british crime capers like Snatch or Lock, Stock… or The Bank Job to be honest.

Yeeees, I love the Ip Man trilogy! I'm not the most well-versed person in martial arts movies so take it with a grain of salt, but I think that the fights in Ip Man are the most impressive in terms of feeling real while also having amazing choreography.

Hero is also really stunning with another great story to boot, I really loved that movie

Again, thanks for this great series!

Ugh, I mean, it's not a big deal, but it really does feel wrong.

Plus the Zephyr and the Quinjets always look perfect, and Daisy's powers in general are very well portrayed too. There are some shaky effects here and there, but going back to the Tahiti machine Coulson has in S1, they really have been almost always amazing for TV

I think that even that would have been more predictable than her suddenly teleporting with Fitz, I loved it!

If you remove Medusa from the picture this actually looks perfectly fine, the contrast is quite hilarious:

Ha! I'm not surprised that they want to do a spin-of, it was expected since they were ending the show soon and are still as popular as ever. But damn, they ordered 4 at once, they truly have gone mad with power
