Completely disagree, Fury Road was fantastic but the very nature of the franchise lends itself very well to make several movies, they don't really have to worrry much about connective tissue or anything, each story is just a self-contained "Tale from the Wastelands".

It still was poorly handled and one of the only negatives of this episodes.

So? Still doesn't make them nazis…

I am legitimately happy and exited with these news, can't wait!

Even that is an alternative fact, they don't seem to have anything against jews or other ethnicities and religions, just inhumans, so fascists would probably be the more accurate term.

Probably not better then nazis, and they probably use many of the same tactics, but it's pretty ridiculous to say that they are nazis when they existed like a thousand years before nazism was even "invented"

But, like, I kind of appreciate the message they are trying to get across, but Hydra existed waaaay before nazism even existed, wether it's in the comics or the MCU… Hell, before Spencer was even born it was established in the comics that Hydra existed before the nazis, so it's just dumb to say otherwise…

Agreed, I was somewhat disappointed when seeing it in the cinema, probably because of the false expectations set by the trailers. Re-watching it at home I found it great, honestly just as good as the 1rst one, though it is a little too similar to it.

It was a little strange, but they were pushed to the side by Daisy's attack that focused on Ophelia, so presumably they were just knocked out on the floor

I noticed that, but what does it reference? I didn't get it

Well yeah, but the inhuman faction has also been around way before nazism was a thing

Right? It's not like they would get less views than the other discussion hubs, the Supernatural discussions were fairly active.

I miss the Supernatural reviews, I think I'll just keep nagging the AVClub on discussion hubs to make one for SPN too.

Double the Fitz, triple the Fitz, Fitz for everybody!

I mean, maybe framework Coulson wasn't all clear on the real facts or something..?
But if so it still felt weird that after giving a rousing speech about "alternative facts" he would then himself use one…

Which felt a little weird to me.

Nope, I am all for these political burns because the storyline really is suitable for them, but I've seen people complain about it on other sites, irrenmann has a point there, I really hope they aren't loosing viewers over this, even if they are idiot viewers they still need every one they could get.

Also, Madame Hydra being quaked out of the Triskelion was an unexpected treat that looked amazing.

There's still no way to be sure what they will do. I'm thinking that maybe there will be a "created" organic Fitz with alternate Fitz' mind irl but that the real Fitz will also recover somehow, so double the Fitz!

This season is on fire, thrilling and fast paced plots and action with gradually building and natural emotional weight, combined with fantastic acting, amazing special effects, intricate and deeply comicbooky storylines, it's all on point!
