True, but that's my point though, in BvS for instance, the problems weren't the gritty tone, or batman killing people, or the darker and serious themes of humanity confronting godlike power, the problems to me seem to come more from forcing and shoehorning in a Justice league setup, Doomsday, Wonderwoman etc… Maybe…

Of course, it's not like I like those movies, but overall I think that if you remove the insane studio interference from the equation the movies could have been good or at least better, even with Snyder's vision of a murdering Batman and a brooding Superman, it could have been interesting.
