True, but that's my point though, in BvS for instance, the problems weren't the gritty tone, or batman killing people, or the darker and serious themes of humanity confronting godlike power, the problems to me seem to come more from forcing and shoehorning in a Justice league setup, Doomsday, Wonderwoman etc… Maybe

Of course, it's not like I like those movies, but overall I think that if you remove the insane studio interference from the equation the movies could have been good or at least better, even with Snyder's vision of a murdering Batman and a brooding Superman, it could have been interesting.

maybe..? I never really saw it, but they do have the advantage of not wearing skin clad outfits with big Xs on them

Legion apparently is really good and unique, and less "comicbooky", which is quite a good thing honestly, because of oversaturation but also because I shudder thinking about those X-Men costumes and powers on a Tv-budget

You know, all this Snyder bashing is getting old, just because he had a darker and different vision of your favorite hero. Everybody knows boy scout Superman, he has been in millions of stories across all media, why is it so hard to accept a different vision for once? He certainly isn't a great director, but he isn't

Again they pull of a twist that surprised me but that was still completely logical, of course Radcliff has an LMD, it's the smart move and he's a smart guy.

That was pretty great, but it is a little mean toward the actor that they themselves cast though..

I feel like that's what they have been going for since the beginning, but in S1 the overserious and dumb Hawks/Savage plotline dragged the show down, but S2 has been consistent campy, silly fun for me, I enjoyed it a lot

don't know about Supergirl since I don't watch it, but LoT S2 was one of if not the most enjoyable and fun comicbook show this year

Man, I'm glad this show is back, it's just so much fun!
And the Legion of Doom is awesome, they are so campy, it feels like they were plucked from an old-time comicbook. It also helps that the actors are doying a nice job and they have a good vilainous chemistry. Sure, some more motivations would be nice, but there's

Me too, it's the only thing that can possibly bring me back to watching the show, I am actually excited to see that two parter, hope that it's more of a stand-alone with not that many conncetions to the rest of the season

Even now I still get goosebumps watching the Mad Max trailers, they were
exceptional, I don't understand how it didn't brought in more people to
the theater. The 1st time I saw the trailer in theaters I was like "Holy
Shit", it never left my mind since and I was super hyped for the
movie.. and it fucking delivered!

I quit a while ago already, at the beginning of the season, though I did see the crossover episode which I liked but only despite the Flash parts so I don't really wanna go back.
However, are there any news about when Grodd will have his 2 episodes? I would tune back in just for him, you really can't top telepathic

I'll add it to my "to check out" list, I never really cared much for the fantastic four as a team becaue they are kind of lame characters as far as I know, but they do have interesting stories what with the whole cosmic universe exploration and their great vilains

Yeah, I know, but the Cell arc still is one of the best of the whole series so it's not like he didn't have any creative spark anymore. It did get a little iffy during the boo saga sometimes. And yes, Jaco and Doctor Slump are next, it's been a long time coming.
I am reading the perfect editions in french though, and

Speaking of manga, I am rereading the beginnings of Dragon Ball in perfect edition (some color pages, better translations, nothing censored of course etc) with Son Goku as a kid, it is so cute and funny and epic and weird, it's honestly magical, I think I even like that period better than the Dbz era

I've only heard good things about Kill or be Killed, I will check it out

Comicbookherald is awesome, it really helped me to figure out the rabbithole that are comics for some events/runs

So what are your thoughts on the new Batman run? I am getting very mixed opinions, so I don't really want to pick it up, despite King, especially with so many lesser known comics that are great now I'd rather give my money to a comic that might need it more..

So it's probably better to read the main book before right? I had Aaron's run on Dr Strange on my to-read-list anyway
