After all the positive feedback and the great looking art I am really looking forward to reading the JL vs SS event once it's finnished!I hope you don't have to know too much about the current state of the DCU, because I have no idea what's going on.
Also, is Jane still Thor? Does that make any sense whatsoever? I

Glad to hear again that the Wolfman-Perez Titans are great, I have their run on my list of comics to read. I want to read the Judas Contract so bad but I will force myself to read the run beforehand, I'm pretty sure I will enjoy it more that way. Thoughts?

I think you should be in for a treat, the Annihilation event looks awesome, I am getting there too, but I am previously finnishing Starlin's Infinity/Thanos saga which I have been enjoying greatly so far, though I didn't even get to the Infinity Gauntlet event yet, there is just so much material

man, I remember that, when I was in the US i took like 20 comicbooks from the library everytime, unfortunately here in Europe I don't know any libraries that have US comics in english :S

Honestly, none of these comics seem particularly appealing to me right now. Motro sounds somewhat more interesting, but I'm not a fan of the art. I might check it out though.
So…… What is everybody reading right now?

I also really like the prequels, but Phantom Menace vs The Force Awakens is a though one for me. TPM is a mediocre to really bad movie, but it introduced so many new themes, visuals etc, whereas TFA is by all accounts a good to great movie, but really nothing really new is added to the universe. It's a concept vs

I think they were too afraid to include anything resembling politics, because "prequels are shit, boring politics blablabla" so in the end nobody who gave a shit really understood why the galaxy was in such state.. But hey, it's the same as before, it's what fans know and wanted so instead of finding some contrived

The prequels main problem to me was that they had some horrible dialogue, but other than that I found the universe they showed us and the story they told us fascinating. The Clone Wars period of Star Wars is one of the most interesting SW periods, more so than the 2-dimensional good Rebels vs. evil Empire of the OT

I can understand that, I feel like if I didn't know SW at all, I would have loved The Force Awakens too. So I gueeessss it's kind of forgivable that he just rehashed everything..? EP 8 and 9 really will have to amp up the originality for me to really accept EP7

I actually loved the 1st Star Trek he did, but then again I don't know Star Trek at all so it was all new to me. With SW I was so disappointed that we got the same universe again, even tough the movie was certainly well made, he is not entirely a hackfraud

Haha, there goes our Barry again, screwing everything up

Now that makes sense, so it's basically like a Flashpoint reality of the Star Wars universe?

I think you can buy some books and comics that explain it, but who cares, the important thing is that the universe is exactly the same as it was before, no need to overthink anything, the fans got what they knew and what they wanted!! right…(?)

It took 12 years to make!

Ha, now that would certainly have been something less sterile in that "made with a checklist to please everybody and not offend anybody" movie. In all seriousness tough, this scene is pretty terrible, and also not at all a new concept in SW, just another call back. "Remember severed alien limbs?"

he actually was his best childhood friend, which sort of makes sense when you consider that after the event he never really had friends untill Watson

So basically what I gather on the Internet is that this season has been
very divisive. Makes sense, personally I thought the 1st episode of this
season was the worst of the series, but I liked episodes 2 and 3 to a certain point. I do like Sherlock less than before tough, I just wish they would tone it
down a little

Yeah, well compassion for "the enemy" dying was never Star Wars' strong
suit. Even in the recent movie, Finn didn't care at all about killing his former teammates a few hours after he had a change of heart, in fact he was joking with Mr. handsome Poe about it. One of the reasons his character felt redundant, what's

I was more surprised that they didn't warn Kallus so he could leave if the bomb was heading towards his ship

Yeah, well compassion for "the enemy" dying was never Star Wars' strong suit, nobody gave a fuck about the Imperials dying in their spaceships or their Death Stars. Even in the recent movie, Finn didn't care at all about killing his former teammates a few hours after he had a change of heart, in fact he was joking
