Finishing above a team whose stadium holds half that of the Emirates (quietest ground in the EPL), and spent considerably less money is quite the accomplishment, yes.

You forget North London! Newcastle now have nothing to play for on Sunday against Spurs, and the toon army will be hostile to their own side. Spurs require just a draw to cancel St. Tottergham’s day. Would be very different if Sunderland had dropped points here.

I’d actually say Liverpool in some ways lost that. You never want to replay a game you had no reason to lose in the first place. But I expect nothing less from a soccer site run by guys who actually chose to support a team like Arsenal
