A ‘premium’ combo at McDonald’s (QP, filet o fish, 10 pc nugget) go for juuuust about $10, give or take a buck, depending on local taxes, etc. If you’re in NYC, that might be considerably more. If you’re in rural TX, it might be a little less. That seems about right to me. If I’m eating something that filling for less

It probably is. The other half is probably salt and MSG. But this is one of those things where even though its objectively awful, familiarity = appeal.

Spaghettios from the can were a revelation to my teenage self. Old enough to cook for myself but *lazy* enough to not want to do dishes, I first discovered that no one would shoot you if you ate your mac ‘n cheese straight from the pot. Realizing that Spaghettios tasted more or less identical weather they were hot or

I don’t think there IS an equivalent. The closest I can think is someone like Michel Gondry or Jean-Pierre Jeunet. But frankly, the idea of a Batman movie from either of them seems like a hot mess, with emphasis on the mess.

As long as they work in that Danny Rand was taken back to his home planet or something.

sprinkles, aka jimmies, are essential in at least one food item: the jewish deli sprinkle cookie. Usually a variation on butter or spritz cookies, they are HEAVILY coated in sprinkles, and the slightly waxy, slightly crunchy texture acts like a shell over a tender, crumbly cookie.

Well, Mila Kunis DID say she always liked dogs...

Fannie May hasn’t been the same since they moved the plant from Chicago to Ohio.

Just off the top of my head, Im gonna guess Gleek was Frank Welker. I didn’t look it up or anything, but it fits.

It one of the first visible lessons in “What fandom thinks it wants is usually not what it actually wants.”

John Voigt’s accent was held at the border under an old Trump policy.

Shanghai Noon and (sure, why not?) Cars put him a ‘rogue-ish cad’ territory, with the ‘cad’ part deemphasized, for sure, but still...

Now playing

Whatever this is, it can’t be nearly as much fun as Roar(1981) starring Tippi Hedrin and a teenage Melanie Griffiths and a pack of UNTAMED LIONS roaming around their Tarzana estate.

Many people love the scent of roses. I do not. The scent reminds me only of old-lady perfume of an old lady who scared me badly as a small child. Lady Whorfin, thankfully, has no truck with flowers as gifts. A plant should be alive. And tasty, for preference.

Patrick Wilson = a *slightly* more attractive, significantly less funny Will Arnett.
