There’s always Erin the E-surance girl (who was retired because rule34 content outpaced actual company links on Google)
But it could only call home with this info IF you connected it, via wifi or ethernet.
Ah. There’s the rub. Are they ‘dwarfs’, a possibly outdated term used to refer to people with various genetic conditions called ‘dwarfism’ ? If so, then yes. Your point stands in its entirety.
Bruce Wayne is essentially a Randian superhero. Howard Galt with guns. One extraordinary man, can, with sufficient will (and, just as it happens, an inherited fortune) make up for the shortcomings of the state.
The writers aren’t enjoying it, and they won’t be here much longer anyway. We might as well join the sourpuss party.
I can’t remember which comic it was, but he said something to the effect of: “I hate when comedians score APPLAUSE. Clapping isn’t laughing.”
He was a theater guy. Memorizing 2-3 hours worth of music is a necessary skill set.
Fun fact: A decent chunk of *Bat out of Hell II* is actually from Jim Stieinman’s only solo album, *Bad for Good*. That album was written as a followup to *Bat out of Hell*, but owing to Meat Loaf’s personal troubles at the time, both financial and vocal, he couldn’t record them, so Steinman put it out himself.
I was never really into Meat Loaf the Singer, (my teens were filled with post-punk, new wave, and prog rock) but when he did act, he was almost always perfect for the roles he got.
He’s actually showed up sorta low-key on the standup circuit (before *gestures vaguely at the world*). Once he came clean, at least, he’s never tried to excuse himself or justify it. He admitted it was a huge fuck up. That much, at least, is somewhat refreshing. He has jokes written around it and they mostly work.…
The League had hit its marks. As it is, I think they pushed it one seaon too far. Killing off Sophia off screen was one step too much, IMHO. I get these were all awful people, but the most of the last season kinda made me cringe in the wrong way.
I don’t do sports AT ALL, but occasionally read Deadspin for its non-sports content, but, like you, that wasn’t enough to make me spring for a sports-centric site like Defector. Tell me Drew is gonna start doing movie reviews Siskel & Ebert style with Dowd, Rabin, or Robinson, and I would sign up in a heartbeat.
Herbalicious!

> two whole meals all for me?
There’s a difference between ‘wanting to eat’ and ‘being hungry’ (at least, for me). Example: I had gotten into a pretty bad dessert habit. I made myself a couple of fresh baked choc. chip cookies almost every day (I’d make batches, freeze unbaked cookies, and toss a couple in the oven after dinner.)
Not that anyone could EVER out weird/cool Bowie, but for a similar ‘type’, Ejiofor is about a solid a choice as I can think of...
I wasn’t basing this off my personal experience. Rather, I was basing this on what seems to be the prevailing wisdom in this thread, which is that, for your average person, altering your lifestyle/eating habits in small but sustainable ways is more likely to lead to slow, but lasting weight loss, rather than radically…
But losing 2 lbs/week is a BAD GOAL, and a bad strategy. Better to decrease your calorie intake marginally, to a point where it is your NEW NORMAL, and increase your activity in the same way. I’ve lost 30 lbs over the last year or two, because I ate a LITTLE less at each meal and did a LITTLE more exercise every week,…
