I saw *Goodnight Mommy* on its initial release. After a SUPER creepy trailer the whole crowd was really pumped for it. Ultimately, it was... good. Just good. The atmosphere and feel sustain it through the first third, but it gets muddled in the 2nd act and the end just wasn’t equal to the build up.

It’s 2021. There has to be an easier way to get proper diacritical marks onto letters than the weird software selection solutions we’ve come up with for western keyboards. In my word processor program, if I type ‘1' and ‘/’ and ‘2' it figures out that I want the 1/2 special character (note, kinja does not). It should

As a 52 year old, even *I* think Aerosmith is dad rock. In theory, the idea behind this is to connect with a band that your target market was all about in their teens and 20's. So if they wanted 50-60 year olds, they should be, as you say, making deals with the Cobain estate, or Chris Cornell’s family. See if Eddie

Stewart got out at the right time. I think having to go through the Trump years on camera would have utterly broken him. For W, at the very least, he presented as... normal. Stupid, yes. Corrupt, certainly. Elitist garbage, absolutely, but all of those things within a recognizably human package. So Stewart’s schtick,

I don’t drink (unlike my alter ego). Lady Whorfin, though, can put a longshoreman under the table. She tends to the spicy ryes, the more complex bourbons, or some nice Irish stuff. She has no love for peated or briney scotches. Her current day-to-day is rye or bourbon from a local California place, Sonoma Distilling.

I would love to think you’re correct, but unfortunately, there are entirely too many dipshits out there who will refuse to get vaccinated AND will be more than willing to lie about it because of ‘freedom’. Even as vaccines are rolling out (I get my 2nd shot in 2 weeks!) health officials are saying they’re seeing

well, I’m not old enough to remember it in its original run, for god’s sake.... It’s just a real marker of what you ended up watching during rainy days in summer, or better yet, when you got to stay home sick.

> I’ve never seen the original “I Love Lucy”

I thought Cinemark (or was it AMC?) had cut a deal w/ WB and everyone was friends again? I know Disney is being Disney and insisting on theatrical releases of Cruella and Black Widow while simultaneously making them available on D+ (for the $30 first run up-charge), and since they’re doing it w/ Black Widow, they’re
