Exactly! Just when you think "oh, killer kids! This should be ridiculous and fun." they throw in Barbara doing… pretty much anything they've had her do, and I reach for the remote in disgust.

I'm truly on the fence about this show. Not whether it's any good, but whether it's actually bad enough to hate-watch, or just boring enough to make me angry…
Hmph. I love cilantro.
Supposedly, Berlanti made it a point of the deal, but CBS brass seems less open to it. I can understand them wanting to hold off letting that particular cement harden. But just the possibility means I'll have to at least give it a shot.
I don't see why only the guys should get to use the salmon ladder…
After Buffy switched from WB to UPN, WB was still had Angel. No?
And, supposedly, this *will* tie in to the Arrow-verse, which means now I have to watch a show on CBS!!
Ah yes. found it. Not everyone is gonna bat 1.000 but man, those were some serious air balls.
Mulaney has some sort of AV Club approval? Where?!? I liked Mulaney's stand up when I've seen bits of it, and 'New In Town' is a GREAT performance, but his show was… well, it wasn't good. I kept watching in a sort of a train-wreck can't-look-away state.
Almost anything is funnier when Bob Balaban says it.
Carl's Jr. is where you go when McDonald's and Burger King are no longer enough to trigger that sweet, sweet self-loathing.
Great. Something else to be plastered all over Canter's (the deli in Los Angeles) register counter. His GnR photo books were taking up all the room when people were just trying to pay their check and get out at 2am.
I don't watch local news, and I hate myself plenty…
I saw Dante present Gremlins (his own pre-edit print, even), along with a former member of the MPAA ratings board (who, just as you imagine, confirms the board is a totally arbitrary cabal that has different standards for studio vs independent, etc.)
Because it actually used to be the Cedars of Lebanon hospital.
To be fair, Lara Flynn Boyle was barely Lara Flynn Boyle to begin with.
It's currently playing at Cinefamily in LA. and will be in various places through end of March. I was lucky enough to catch this last weekend with both Stanley and the filmmakers.
Hey, it's keeping Garret Morris current in SAG. That health insurance is no joke.
Charlie Brown ISN'T bald. His father is a barber, in the old-school 50's men's barber tradition. Naturally, he just breaks out the #1 clippers on the kid.
