I guess geriatric liberals will have to hang on to their current Toyota Avalon until they go to the great Costco in the sky.

2nd gear;

“Her hair was the color of rust. She was tall as though someone installed an aftermarket lift kit. Her walk had a smooth glide like the shifting of gears on a manual transmission. She was the Holy Grail.”

Italy. Just be careful where you sign up. Make sure it smells of oil and not incense.

heavily disagree. The american concept is about pushing frontiers and boundaries, about doing things better than before, about being exceptional. WE are losing that, and it’s things like regular old cars and gas and oil holding us back. People are clinging to them and we are just going to have to tear ourselves away

I own 9 internal combustion vehicles. My next purchase will be electric, partly to do my part to cut emissions and partly because I like how they drive. And I support an escalating carbon tax to help capture the externalities of fossil fuel usage and make cleaner energy sources more competitive.

Can you imagine if we’d had your attitude back at the introduction of the internal combustion engine? If everyone said they were a “bad value proposition” (whatever that means) because we already had horse feeding troughs and people who cleared the sh*t from our streets?

Our transition to EV’s is infinitely easier,

This is a PUBLIC health issue. Federal and state governments can say “if you want to work for the state or participate in PUBLIC activities (i.e. public school, enter a federal or state building), get vaccinated or get tested daily”.

Little trailers like this just point up how pointless a lot of truck purchases are. If you don’t need to move a lot very often, a tiny trailer gets a lot done.  A lot of truck sales are to people who think there aren’t viable options for when they want to move more than will fit inside the car, but there are always

I feel for the people who this joke just flew over their heads

Lithium isn’t hard to find, just get a satellite radio subscription, go to channel 34, and you get all the Lithium you want. Not sure what is wrong with these people, why spend billions instead of a few bucks a month?

Hi, Folks! Mod Motor Guy, the shop owner checking in again!

Dealership is in the wrong. Allow me to explain my shop’s insurance policy, and you will soon see....

1. General liability - this is EXACTLY as it sounds. If I am out driving your car for whatever reason, be it a test drive, a delivery, or anything general

... aaand the Tiger was overwhelmed by shear numbers because the Sherman was built by car makers instead of heavy equipment manufacturers

Particularly if they were tasked with liberating a part of coastal Europe:

I know that this horse has bolted, but I sort of hoped that the transition to electric vehicles would see the use of kWh/100 miles, instead of miles per kWh. MPG has always made comparisons different, because it compresses large gains into small numbers. From 10 MPG to 15 MPG is the same amount of increase as going

It was just this week that I learned that Huntsville Alabama has minor league baseball team called the Rocket City Trash Pandas. I could not contain myself to what an AWESOME name that is and their mascot? *chef’s kiss*

Funny, we saved a bunch of money by getting married.  Filing jointly ftw

What’s always worth spending extra money on? Is there something you will never cheap out on?”

To backup the “shameless plug” Tom just helped me secure one of those that was on order for msrp. This was after spending 2 months searching and getting run around by Kia dealers adding stupid ADMs on Tellurides they didn’t even have. After reading Tom’s articles for forever, he’s the real deal and found me one within

Hi...shameless plug here but I have dealer contacts that will order Tellurides to spec and sell them at MSRP
