1. I find myself oversleeping right before daylight savings time, and all of a sudden, today I’m not oversleeping anymore. Maybe my body just got used to Daylight Savings Time? Does this happen to anyone else?

There are several tragic events in history. Too numerous to mention. But might I add: the fact that the camera did not show the faces of the newscasters when the guy said that his wife was at home and that she was “Sicilian.” Maybe it is just me. But I think that this is very sad.

Who cares if some dude who wrote the theme song for Kevin Costner’s “Robin Hood” thinks that Taylor Swift is a genius? I mean, have you seen that movie?? It isn’t great...

Is this the thread where we get to talk about that bizarre, pretentious, portentous, fake-Broadway stage play called “Steve Jobs” in movie theaters right now?? Because boy, do I need to vent.

I don’t agree with Greer. But she has thought a lot about gender. She is an authority. And her viewpoint should not be completely silenced just because it doesn’t conform to the current orthodox position.

There is a HUGE difference between giving in to bigots who say “No one can criticize me because First Amendment” and cancelling a Feminist speaker because her views about trans people are not popular. Your cartoon correctly responds to the first category of people. But college campuses need to be a place of

I also imagine a version of this movie where they commit a murder together and then have to hide it, but someone finds out and tortures them in a psychological manner. And also it is set in Victorian Britain. Or an elite prep school.

I remember when Britney was trying out a “comeback” after her complete batshit crazy meltdown. And they had her singing in clubs. Right when the guy opens his towel Adam Jones is saying “It don’t look like much now...”

How does this NOT happen more with locker room interviews? I mean, we all know what happens in a locker room, right?

You lost me at “i don’t like tina fey in 30 rock”

Did I miss your mention of her playing Mrs. Lovett? If I didn’t, this is a serious omission that completely undermines the validity of the whole post.

I looked it up- Dateline has been on CONTINUOUSLY since 1992!

People need to come out because they feel that they can’t. That’s why. You had an upbringing that told you that you are ok. Other people did not. The fact that you don’t care is great. But that is because you grew up comfortably. Other people did not. Not everyone was raised as you were raised. So that is why.

Wait—-Dateline is still a thing?? Is this 90’s revival nostalgia? Or has it always been on? This is totally news to me.**

The base eats it up because clumsiness IS the rhetorical strategy. We aren’t done with the resentful petite bourgeoisie that Nixon represented so well. All they want is for someone to tell them and to show them that their ignorance is a virtue.

Because they were cut out of their father’s will; or they are straight and married a gay person; or their boss treats them unfairly... Basically, small, petty people like to get out all of their frustrations on service people because they are small and petty. They feel helpless and they want other people to feel
