I saw him at The Bungalows in Santa Monica once with a gaggle of 6’ women under 25. They seemed to think he was really charming. As an outsider, watching a 45 year old man entertain a bunch of 22 year olds was less charming.

This isn’t entirely related, but it’s funny how the “yoga community” doesn’t have one single Indian. I hate that it’s become so associated with upper middle class white women and their “wellness” moment.

This Don McLean character is fucking disgusting. She looks like his grand-daughter. Is she wearing fucking braces on her teeth?! Ugh, old rich men are the grossest, and I really can’t wrap my head around the young, pretty women who let them inside of their bodies.

It’s the smart move, pitting the teacher’s union against the poor people. Got to keep the underclass fighting with itself instead of paying attention to who’s really ripping them off.

They have to keep cutting their taxes, or the coal mines will all move their operations to the Dallas or Houston suburbs.

Hey Disney, if you got the money to make this could your remake Watership Down using the same effects crew that made Babe?

Oh don’t get me wrong. That movie terrified me, but I also begged to watch it repeatedly.

Am I the only one hoping this is a second Return to Oz?

Former Peace Corps volunteer here. If your friend acted like she literally built everything herself then yeah, she sucks. If you hated on her for setting up schools (probably using local laborers) then you’re the shitty person.

Every single character is less aggravating in the graphic novel. Every one. Anyway, I hate watched season 3 and then tapped out. This year is where I’m first starting to get the Grey’s Anatomy type, “Huh? This show is still on? How about that?”

Zzzzzzzzzzzz...

Let’s not pretend that Amazon and other companies are allowing people to bring their dogs into work because they care about employee happiness. They are doing it because employees will work longer hours if they don’t have to go home to take care of their dogs.

Ugh. This is Jez at its worst, seriously.

Sure. Like makeup, high heels, and skintight/revealing this that or the other. These things aren’t bad in themselves, but our own misogynist culture codes them as “feminine” in order to perpetuate the idea that a woman’s worth is measured by the male sexual interest she can attract.

The way I see it is that hijabs are kind of misogynistic, but so are many, many aspects of U.S. culture. I think young girls being sexualized and feeling pressure to dress slutty in the U.S. is pretty misogynistic, but I still want young girls to be free to dress slutty if they want.

I’d agree. I’m regular Jewish, and the majority of us (reform and conservative Jews) find Orthodox Judaism’s treatment of women to be misogynistic and anachronistic at best, repulsive and disgusting at worst. Although Orthodox Jewish women don’t wear hijabs, they are required to cover all of their limbs at all times

I think that the current feminist trend of fawning over hijabs is the product of some “enemy of my enemy” logic. The RWNJs hate Muslims, and since they hate all things good, Muslims must be good, even when they aren’t. Any religion or sect that tells women they have to cover themselves so they don’t seduce the

What were your first impressions of the Beatles?

Its so annoying to see the moms doing all the work. 10 years ago I was a dancing thin mint. Do your time girls lol
