i have a 4670k with a 1070, and at 1080p on the highest settings i am getting over a 100fps steady. When i had vsync set to 144 i would see the frames go from 70-120. With it off it stays above 100 fps with no issues.

yeah but you dont start off your training by flying a plane full of commercial passengers. also, what are the chances these pilots had a CFI license.
