He usually is, when the black kid is unarmed and running in the opposite direction. Cops kill unarmed black kids far too often. Or do you think the amount of unarmed black kids being shot is where it needs to be? I merely request information.

Class is hardly mobile if you're born poor, and doubly so if you're born poor and black. The myth of striving to the middle class from the lower class is just that: a myth. The only people invested in it, are people born on 3rd base, and then claiming they hit a triple.

I would prefer a minimum number of posts before "advanced" posting (videos, pictures, links, etc) are allowed. This weeds out hit-and-run trolls from doing anything except saying terrible things and then getting the banhammer.

A problem well-defined is a problem half-solved. Not everyone even agrees that we have a problem with over-militarized cops. Not everyone agrees the racism is a pernicious and ever-present scourge in the police corpus. Until we get there, solutions will not present themselves. Solutions are rarely "new thinking"…

Try not to get caught in the details so much that you miss the pattern. The pattern exists, is provable by evidence. To get lost in the details of one case to invalidate the larger issue is typical small-minded thinking.
