The low-effort Luddite sentiment on here is getting really tired. If a tool makes artists more productive, that’s great for everyone. If it leads to products nobody likes, it won’t fined continued use, either because Blizzard drops it or because Blizzard will be gone. The possibility that something new could be good

Honstely? That’s the smartest thing he could’ve done.
When your passion develops into a big company like that and you’re still interested in doing what actually IS your passion, let someone else do the paperwork and administrative tasks.

For example, people who want 4K HDR 10-bit rips with Atmos audio with correctly-timed subs and without a single ad anywhere, no paywalls and no malware-ridden, sketchy streaming-sites only someone who’s asking for trouble would use?

Seems extremely bizarre to say an hour an a half is “long before most games get good.” Is this really so? Generally if a game is not good for an hour and a half it’s not a good game.

I think the “you’re not” part was in response to the “I feel like I’m hopelessly late to the party”

You’re not, though the tone of this article (ridiculously) implies so. Enjoy the game at your own pace. That’s how it was designed to be played.

I guess I’m in the minority here, but I thought that the Great Sky Island was a genius section of game design. It flowed naturally and felt like it trusted the player to figure it out, and left multiple paths forward for quite a few areas (including that last shrine, which I do admit was a doozy). But all of that was

Lmao I never gave money to cryamore but I check in on posts every now and then because 10 years ago, the pitch was good and the game looked neat.

Oh fuck off with that bullshit. Its clear from their history that they are under pricing their tiers to get more sales by putting riskier margins only to have the market do what it does and they then hold the backers hostage for more money. Either they pushed the kickstarter out the door before they really grasped

You know that smell when you go into a library or used book store of old, dry paper?

Ok, so Anime Pyre (as in Supergiant’s Pyre).

So...“raid” in your article appears to mean they were kind of scary looking but they knocked on his door and asked for stuff back? And they were “nice” and “apologetic?”

Jesus, oversensationalize much?

Both of those things are factually correct though, Pokémon are literally pocket monsters, and a monster can definitely be classified as a character

I’m sorry, but when you say “Pokémon reveals a new monster”, are you talking about a new variety of Monster energy drink? I’m confused.

Yeah... because you aren’t actively playing the game.

This just show how little the producers cared. He’s being honest that he doesn’t do voices and they still did a stunt cast. Shows how little respect is given to voice actors.

This sounds like the directors and casting’s fault, if any blame is to be laid anywhere. They knew what they were getting. Shrug.

I don’t think he was ‘making demands’. He said ‘This is how I do my voice. If this is good for you, then cool.’ Blame the producers, if anyone. Seth was just upfront about how is performance would be and they still hired him despite that warning.

Jesus Christ, man. This is about an industry paper specifically relating to the board game industry, with people IN that industry trying to help in the area they are knowledgable about. Nobody is saying this is the solution to the waste problem on this planet, or that we shouldn’t ALSO address larger scale issues. But
