I say this as a former NASCAR fan and as commentary of this article but...

I think that rag was the exact moment when the builder finally said “fuck this shit” and started researching prices on Craigslist.

It could use more plaid seats, though.

User name checks out.

‘Cause anything ending with .9 sounds like you aren’t quite there yet.  I have to get past this every time I read about the Alpha V-6.

Buick’s old 350 was actually a 349, and its 455 was actually a 456. They could have distinguished themselves better from the other divisions with their own 350's and 455's if they hadn’t rounded.

At least he’ll have plenty of time interacting with his son, on the side of the road.

The new 5.0/302 is actually larger than 5 liters by 35cc:

Jason has it right, the Jaaaaag XF Sportbrake. Tom, the Odyssey is a good car but not “fun.” Thats a big step down from a fun BRZ, but i appreciate what you are getting at, it is an excellent family car.

Maybe you should stop wearing high heels, of maybe don’t wear tall hats because at 6'2" if you don’t fit in most of the cars you listed above, it might not just be the height.

Because GM had a 5.0 Liter and theirs couldn’t be smaller. Though all of the players do this, from Honda to Briggs and Stratton. Ford to MB. if it is engine displacement then it will be rounded up.

It’s actually 4.94889L if you want to be a total pedantic ass about it. For racing purposes this engine would be 5L class, same as the GM 305 which is 4.99805L. Why more people don’t get this I don’t know.

My cousin had a 79 Trans Am that had the CB built into the 8 track radio.  It also had a power antenna that functioned as the CB whip.

...because 5.0 rhymes with, “hair can blow”?

2.7L = 225 stant 6.

To be fair, BMW has been rounding down their power #s for some time.

I don't mind the Newton meters, but rounding up pisses me off. That's some BMW level bullshit.

Sounds like a dumb gimmick dreamt up by some stupid brand manager desperate to make a mark. It will be abandoned the instant this individual gets promoted or moves onto another job. Then it’s on to the next disjointed nonsense and management will continue blaming external factors for weak sales.

If they are in a Cadillac dealer looking for an XT6, they have other problems.

Cadillac is re-inventing itself.....to oblivion.
