Good for turning, bad for towing.

I noticed this almost immediately.

Probably one wheel base for all cab/bed variations.

There would have to be some serious restyling efforts to make that thing presentable.

Now playing

OK... Best COTD contender in a while.

First thing to come to mind

I like you already.

Hmm, do you seat 8?

In awe at the size of that lad. Absolute unit.

No more pretentious than associating it with, say, a yacht

I wonder how many powers it has under that fairly attractive hood. I would hope at least 400 of each (HPs and torques) just to be fun.

Incorrect. I didn’t gag when I saw this. The QX80 is always upsetting.

Palisade. That sounds pretentious as fuck.

I do not disdain you for buying the car that suits your needs any more than I disdain a soccer mom with a minivan or a plumber with a work truck.

This point makes me think that Ford is being careful not to repeat the mistake of the 1920s—Henry thought the Model T could go forever as it was all people needed. Unfortunately for Henry and the Model T, people wanted more than what they needed.

Hauling leaves to the compost site this fall made me realize why crossovers took off in popularity.

You’re right. Also, what (real) people want is fueled less by what’s available and more by what they can actually get. You can buy some seriously stupid shit with a 96mo loan.

I’ve got an entire walk-in closet piled with random junk (especially electronics) with the silly notion that if I ever need a small part, maybe I can salvage it from some old gadget or gizmo.  Of course, that never actually happens to be the case, so the shit just kinda piles up in there.

This is perfect, thank you.

That’s cool; at least you have a lot of cool shit.  Everybody else goes out and buys a Dell, but you’re the only one that has YOUR PC.  Nobody else can have that, because it’s yours’.  You built it, and now it’s specific to you.
