That’s all well and good, but how in the world have you not assigned Rob to do a story on this guy yet?

As a former eta engine owner, I’d like to add that it is more fun and more robust than it gets credit for, especially as an around-town daily driver! Someone in Iowa should give this nice and reasonably priced E28 a good home!

Front wheel drive LS swap? just no.  

Pluses: Good body, always liked the looks, can show off my Jalopnik skills by restoring and getting it back on the road.

Swap it out for something that’ll get them talking at car shows.

Why not throw $1,350 down a sewer drain and hit yourself in the forehead with a mallet for 3 hours every day for a year?  The result would be the same.

Kinda why I laugh a little while watching something like good morning america. They’ll be showing some horrific thing like a school shooting or natural disaster while having a huge crowd outside the window behind them going “wooooooo!” Then the reporters cut away to some cheerful weather guy thats laughing about…
