Neither could anyone else, thus an unceremonious death.
Triggered.
NO LOWBALERS!! I NOW WHAT I GOT!!!!!
You need only have serious regrets if you actually buy a Camaro, not if you theoretically might buy a Camaro; you good.
I’m on the fence, but I’ll go NP because you can’t get a decent old muscle-car for this price and this will give you all the muscle-car feels.
Slant 6: SAD!! I didn’t even know that was an option. Most b-bodies had, at minimum:
Hot Take: Cars hate Bicycles.
I knew you were going to come back with that one, and I cannot argue the point further.
Yep. That ‘69 was a B-Body, much like my ‘66 Charger, which I still have, and which rides like absolute shit largely due to that neolithic rear suspension setup.
“. . . It’s just life”. Pretty sure it’s just death.
I’d be happy if someone did that to me as a living being. Or put a sheet on me and just left me alone. Either is fine.
It’s a semantic thing, but old Mopars weren’t body-on-frame: They were all unibody. I think the main issue with these is that they rode on an ancient relic of a rear leaf-spring (see roman chariot, see horse-drawn carriage) suspensions.
Groovy.
In the mid-80s, we had a shit-brown Ford Granada with very similar slippery bench seats. What a time to be alive.
That was the blessing and curse of a Volare/Aspen: They always started, but that meant you had to experience the horror of driving it.
And some shorty headers and a dual-exhaust!
Well, from what I remember, the ride wasn’t that bad (imagine floaty and sloppy, with massively overboosted and numb settering, but comfortable, nonetheless) but drive and handling, very pig-like.
This is an easy NP in my book, mostly because I have bad judgement. Also, that 318 can put out double that power pretty easily (and still have very little power) and make this car an oversteering hoot to drive.
Another trend: Almost all new cars feel incredibly heavy. I mean, they are getting heavier, but they just feel rotund.
