When my grandfather found out his Pontiac Parisienne had a 307 Olds engine in it, he went to the dealer and raised hell. He didn’t know until 2 years after he bought it!!

And in ‘79 you couldn’t even get the Mark with a wheezy 460, only the even more athsmatic 400M, 2bbl with like, 166 hp.
