Came here to lament the loss of sweet, two-tone paint schemes, as shown on the cover vehicle. And I’m out.

Right car, wrong drivetrains unfortunately.
Nobody remembers the Aerostar because they disintegrated within 10 months or at the end of their first winter; whichever came first.
We had these as service vans and I hated them. Rattles, squeaks, engine has the audible quality of a log-chipper full of coffee-cans, and they are uncomfortable to drive and suck to work on. CP for personal bias.
Like, what about a Lincoln on Mustang platform? Something actually sporty and interesting in Lincolns line-up!? Like a Q50 or ATS competitor. Call it the Mark IX. Make Lincoln Interesting Again!
I think people assume, diesel+manual=indestructible, but there is more to a car than bearings and pumps and it all wears out with use. 192,000 and 16 years is not insignificant to deterioration and wear. $4,000 seems right to me.
I feel a kinship with this VW as I am also old, high-mileage, slow and unmarketable. CP for self-loathing.
Yep, V8 Monzas were awful to wrench on, and Monzas themselves were awful in a lot of ways, pretty much like their contemporaries now that I thought NL of it.
Most of the big GMs were like that too. Even with a big block, Caprices, Bonnevilles, etc..... were pretty easy to work on.
They are very easy to work on though, so there’s that.
Factory allys? I think not! $5,500 for a V6 5M Raider? I think so! NP.
That thing would set some track times at Laguna Seca.
“...too much stance.”
Ixnay on the Eepjay oardinghay.
I realized my love for the Chrysler TC by Maserati was out of control when I once uttered the words “That’s not the dumbest idea for a joint venture, executed in the worst way”.
Pretty sure the opposite of cross eyed is walleyed.
Sometimes I regret forgoing an engineering degree, then I find out engineers are sometimes tasked with creating “trustworthy eyeballs for autonomous mobility pods”. Generic business degree FTW!
Sometimes a mercy killing is justified, to end the suffering. CP.
This episode will become part of the historical canon of tank lore
Well, I can’t use voice to text; I’m shy.
