Took me a second to get that one.

Not sure if you’ve ever driven in Europe, but that’s basically the system they have in place now. Robo-camera van snaps a pic of the speeder (not sure what the “over” threshold is, but I’ve heard up to 10%) and you get tickets in the mail and a loss of points. No arguing, no excuses, no car chases. I actually like it.

It’s not just Pennsylvania.....

I guess driving is an art-form in a way. You not only need to have skill, but situational awareness and techniques like assertive driving as a defensive tactic. Not sure how an autonomous car would “learn” all this.

I agree with the 2+ car lengths, and it’s usually someone looking at their phone or at themselves in the mirror. But that isn’t always the case. It’s people leaving a 6' gap and other drivers shoving their nose in that gap, or kind of creating an extra lane where they wait for a barely 1 car gap then dart in and stop…

Just here to state that I’m so old and out of touch that I don’t know what a “dab” is. I have 3 x 7+% craft beers and a cigar and I’m pretty much done for the day. Weed would probably put me in a coma these days; such a puss-boy

Changing lanes is not what I am referring to. Using turn lanes, exit lanes, and shoulders to race past a 1/2 mile of stopped traffic to abruptly cut in; that is the scenario I envision causing problems. But if that driving practice is what you must do to give yourself a hard-on, I can only hope you die in a fiery car…

Unwritten rule; German luxury cars always have the right of way. Apparently. And this rule also applies in the U.K.

Plus, I’m not wasting a bunch of time researching where is cheapest, then driving the extra distance. It’s like buying groceries at 4 different stores to save $1.00 at each place but using a whole day to do so. Fuuuuuhhhkkkk dat!

I hate driving on Chicago expressways and in city congestion, plus, most People seem to suck at driving, are self-serving, and apparently have limited knowledge of lane-priority, right-on-red, merge etiquette, left-on-red, right-of-way or even basic vehicle control “OMG!…

But at least there’s no arguing with it or hearing it’s opinions. As a great man once said regarding a technical creation: “It can’t be bargained with, it can’t be reasoned with, it doesn’t feel pity, or pain, or fear....”
