I think it’s your choice. Me? I would DD and accept the abuse a DD gets if it were a shot car. You know, a pristine Chevy Celebrity or first gen Taurus. But if it’s something cool and collectible or unique (first gen SHO) then I’d likely care for it as I hate to see once great cars get abused.

Like, no brakes as in literally“no brakes”? I’d assume there has to be some level of friction-inducing mechanism under-foot, or does it just use terrible aerodynamics to stop? Please quantify using a humorous analogy.

I agree with kids being buckled; they are often victims of parental negligence, and many times parents who have no financial fortitude to pay for insurance OR medical bills.

Oh, I pay attention. I’m sort of oddly obsessed, and appalled by, corporate greed and corruption. The Big Short is one of my favorite movies and gets me all riled up to fight the power. But then I check my Instagram feed, see some funny memes and forget about it.

It’s funny, back when I rode motorcycles, we all had scooters too. We had scooter cruise night, where we embraced our inner geek. Those were fun nights where we had a blast driving slow things fast.

It’s almost like there is a link between irresponsible behavior, lack of self-preservation instinct, unwillingness to follow laws and a low socioeconomic standing; who would have thunk it?
