What other fictional universes would be a good fit for CKII's "strategy vs backstabbing politics"?

What was the movie they wanted to watch?

Only one I can't agree with is This is the End. Just found it to be so terribly mediocre. A few possible substitutions: the Men in Black, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Fifth Element (although its a mix of serious/comedy), Flash Gordon (although that probably counts as unintentional comedy),

Well in a way I agree with Sneaky Bastards that pure stealth games are rare. Dishonored plays with the ghost/non-lethal tropes, but still uses them. Hiding behind the disguise you are still a ghost, just in a different way. And a non-lethal solution/hidden killing is still the easiest end to get to the exit after

I think it's very unlikely that the American/Canadian would be the shape it is on that map, even if Clay won. By 1844, American settlers were in the majority in the area below the 49th parallel (the English discouraged settlement as it interfered with the lucrative fur trade). The issue between England and the US was

I love how there seems to water in some form on almost anything in our Solar System we take closer look at. It makes extraterrestrial life just a little bit more likely, whether in our system or elsewhere. Also a nice bonus to us spreading out in the solar system.

Still, it'd take some big technological advancements before you can get a spacecraft full of heavy diamonds out of any gas giant's gravity well. What do you want to build with diamonds anyway?

Actually not filmed in Australia. Its Namibia. The place in Australia where they were gonna do it originally, had a massive rainy season causing flowers to bloom all over the place.

Jupiter's massive gravity well compared to the other gas giants makes mining there quite inefficient. The other gas giants might be more likely. Diamonds aren't that rare on Earth though (the price is just kept high artificially) so it wouldn't be a big reason to go there. Helium³ can be found on the Moon as well,

Honestly, the previous movies would've been fine had they been 120 minute movies. Jackson is just too hung up on his previous work, causing him to keep aiming for the three hour mark. I wonder what fan editors can do with all this footage (things like the Elf-Dwarf love story are so tacked on they can be removed

I don't see the point. 5 times it's happened in the last 44 years? That's about 440 million flights if not more.

The majority of the debris' size is in the range of millimetres. The problem is that orbital speeds that becomes like a bullet, which is why it'd be worth removing.

I think you're using dystopian wrong. A dystopia is generally referred to some extremely crappy society, full of government control or something else that you really wouldn't want. The crappiness might be apparent to the population or it may be hidden by some fake utopia.

The pre-movies canon is pretty safe. Disney has no reason to tamper with things like KOTOR, since it doesn't influence the story they can tell for episodes 7+.

3? I think you mean 4 (2 sets of left/right). Not sure if it feels/works like a trigger or a shoulder button though. All I know is that they're there.

It uses haptic feedback (hard to explain, its something you need to try or read up on) to give the illusion of tactile feedback. But unlike the standard thumbstick, its more dynamically configurable and more precise. As a result the movement precision is far closer to that of a mouse than a thumbstick can ever be.

It's a trigger on the back. There's one on the left and one on the right.

I always wanted something like this. My main two gripes with Pokemon are that its basic gameplay is far too easy and that your Pokemon rarely feel unique/special. The permadeath goes a long way to fix that the first problem, but I with this game see no solution to the second which is a shame. One solution would be to

It was made using a terrain generator, so maybe a few hours worth of work.

Some stats from the indie part of the survey. My thoughts in italics.
