This?

Almost Human is such a weird show. It has the universe and it has the characters, but it doesn't do as much with it as it should.

8-Bit Cinema is just ruined by the incoherent look. Colors, sprite sizes, etc. all vary too widely to make sell it, at least to me. The TV RPG series from CollegeHumor and the Dorkly shorts are much better in that regard.

But also a very common human quality. Daryl does the same thing, as at least part of him still sees her mostly as suicide girl.

As I watched this, the first thing that popped into my head was that people were either going to love or hate it.

A lot of people would've assumed the same thing as Beth would've. When you wear biker clothes, know your way around weapons like he does and have a brother like Merle, jailbird is a choice on the menu.

It's a very common opinion. Of all the sci-fi classics discussed on io9, Blade Runner seems to get the most comments by people who can't get into it.

Agree with this very much. Scarface is a remake. BRAAAMMMM sounds make some trailers just work.

The Other Guys wasn't slow-mo like bullet time is. It was more like a diorama, a still frame.

Yet to play V, but I from the looks of it they still got that magic.

When you really thing about it, IV's Liberty City is like really quite small. Yet Rockstar managed to make it feel like a metropolis.

Looks very Zen.

For those who want to see it? No. But for those who want to buy/sell it? Yes, because the worth is determined by its uniqueness.

Another one, right here. Remember the moment too: the scene in the pilot when Keen stabs Red in the neck with a pen too get him to talk. It's a show that plays fast and loose with logic, but for some reason it works. Good simple fun, with enough mystery to keep you interested but not enough to exhaust you (looking at

I thought this episode was just the best. Unlike most other episodes the universe connected with the technology. Other episodes often have a tech-of-the-week that's forgotten by the next episode, but this one tied into the Chrome stuff that was covered last week as well, which allows it to go far deeper. That combined

It's compressed. Like a zip file. The data is full unpacked on installation.

No problem!

The preview pulse, as it's called, is just another tool in trailer editor's toolcase. It's used because it's effective. It's repetitive nature make it act like an air raid siren, i.e. a way of grabbing the attention and to invoke a feeling of dread (which is why it's often used with invasion movies). And they're not

This was pretty amazing. Never saw any of the official promotional stuff, but nonetheless this has me pumped.
