The music and sound FX really sells the SNESness of this.

The gun helps a lot too.

Now playing

This History of Typography is also an interesting watch.

I have about 134 games in Steam, but I've never felt the use to categorize. Some are favorited, but I generally keep it tidy by deinstalling the games I haven't played in a long while. Big ones that'll take an age to download I'll generally leave, but since half my library is indie, it's generally no more than a few

I knew I was missing someone. Elizabeth is definitely the most attractive character I've seen this decade.

I just love this guy. He brings a lighter side to space exploration.

Yeah I think you only need an account to start a petition.

I think it's more to show R* that they want that practice to change. Doesn't mean that they really expect R* to immediately do so, but I imagine they feel that their discontent is heard. At the very least it communicates to R* that PC gamers care about GTA.

Indeed, especially since there is quite a large following of GTA fans that want a PC version (http://www.change.org/en-CA/petition…). Maybe R* (or TakeTwo) is hoping that those who have both a console and a PC will buy it twice, once on release and later to get smoother graphics and stuff like 32 player MP.

The new score box is much better than the previous ones. Great job.

Alyx is perhaps the only in-game woman that I've truly attractive. She just looks and feels like a real person. Her cause is helped that most game women are the equivalent of RL girls that are just about being pretty. Girl next door Alyx stands out among that.

At this point, the movie could only be better than we expect.

I bought my dual core desktop in 2009 and it was mid-range. Quad core definitely wasn't the standard until not too long afterward, maybe 2010. I remember quad core at the time becoming more available, but were recommended for uses beyond gaming, like video editing. Only in recent years have games truly used

I find it weird I see a big developer doing a small game. I'm so used to them coming out with the Next Big Thing, that it's strange to suddenly see their name on something smaller.

It's Magnum PI playing the Colecovision :D

I wouldn't have guessed it was still receiving tech support, which is the real news, not that's going to become obsolete.

Rest in pieces, in peace?

All my male friends have seen it. I think the car and iconic horn are recognized by most Dutch people (from a certain generation onward).

If CoD was the first place they saw it, it's not that hard too imagine that people might think that. People who've never seen anything American Civil War related (which outside of the USA is probably a lot) might just as well think the flag on the General Lee was something the creators of Dukes of Hazzard came up with.
