I have been really enjoying it, but it is odd just how much it is referencing itself. It reminds me of when Simpsons got a whole group of new writers that all grew up on Simpsons, and suddenly we’re getting episodes about early season episodes, or jokes with references to something that hadn’t come up in 20+ years.

She was who I did on my first playthrough, and I think she’s got the strongest story and questline of the female NPC romances (I’ve seen a lot of the other ones in my multiplayer game with friends) but yeah it is so hard to feel like she’s actually in a relationship with your character until much later than anyone else

Oh absolutely. Act 1 and 2 you miss stuff and find it later and its like “damn this was well hidden” or “I was focused on a different playstyle” but Act 3 you miss stuff because main story stuff gets thrown at you in the weirdest places, or you’re exploring and basically trigger a major story event without realizing

It is still very ambiguous. It isn’t like Dragon Age that marks flirts with a special icon. It is just a better written line for the player to pick. If anything this makes it more ambiguous because it doesn’t feel like your only options are “let’s date” and “fuck off weirdo.

It is annoying that you’re not actually considered “in a relationship” until most NPC’s scene in Act 2. Almost everyone’s scene tries to kick in all at once, and I think they have some kind of priority about which one kicks in first when you sleep at night. I had to go through 3 different rejections when I first

If I remember, the episode ended with them realizing it was a superstition, then a few years later the Sire got out and the Guide was telling them how dangerous it would be if he was killed because all vampires are connected to him. They realized that would only matter if the Baron was still alive, and that’s when

They also never 100% established that killing a vampire kills all the ones it has sired. They keep treating it like a superstition, even though it would be something pretty easy to check. But of course vampires are idiots. If it was true I think its one of those things that most vampires could probably be connected to

We’ve also gotten a LOT of Lazlo compared to the others this season. Which I do love, especially since for the past couple seasons we’ve seen him grow and become a really supportive (in his own way) friend to Colin, Nandor and even Guillermo. But this definitely helped give some of the others chances to shine again.

It is probably the best episode for capturing the original premise of the movie and show of just showing how vampires function in the modern world.

While they haven’t done a great job referencing it the past few weeks (usually just a throwaway line here before Nadja’s story starts), they did very heavily focus on the hex in the first few episodes. Its what lead Nadja to finding Little Antipaxos, its why she taught the night school, its why she worked at the

On my first playthrough I didn’t get that scene at all, and I still ended up having to reject Gale as the romance scene started. Its unfortunate because adding “flirt” tags to the conversation really would ruin the immersion, but I feel so sad having to turn characters down in the middle of their big romantic gesture.

I just got to Act 3 on my Urge character (who is 100% giving in to it), and it is definitely a different experience. I really like how much more connected the player character is to the storyline, and it really does strengthen the BG 1-2 connections. The normal interactions I did in a “good” playthrough with the Bhaal

She gets a LOT of lines. She’s about as fully fleshed out as the origin characters. She has her own questlines, things to do with her BG 1 and 2 connections, comments on things your character and the other party members do. She is pretty great. Was definitely the right pick to have as the main connection to BG 1 and

The only non-origin character that seems to get a real storyline is Jaheira. A lot of the more “evil” options feel really underbaked and like you’re basically doing the same stuff you do for a “good” run, but the amount you miss out on if you go the Minthara route is crazy. Its a shame because she’s really interesting

Act 3 definitely felt a bit shocking. Its easily the size of Act 1 and 2 combined, but there’s so many bugs and just poorly thought out things that it made it rough. There’s a lot of ways players can basically feel like they’re being forced in to the finale despite there being dozens of sidequests to complete. There

Definitely should have been. You can tell that’s what the actor was going for, so it makes you wonder if that’s who they wanted in the first place. I mean I really like Dan Stevens, and I think he did a good job on the season, but it really feels like him doing a Matt Berry impression.

I will say I’ve gotten a lot of mods to work for the game. It just takes quite a few extra steps than most game modding does. Many of the mods on places like Nexus won’t work because they were designed for early access versions of the game. The ones that do work are pretty nice, but there’s very few actual “cheat”

Oh good point. Does it work if you kill him or do you need to let him die in the trap? Quite a few corpses haven’t talked to my party after I was the one who killed them.

I unfortunately went in the house with no rests available and very few spell slots (and was too stubborn to just leave) but that sounds like a much better way to handle it. Honestly by Act 3 teleportation and flight are practically mandatory to accomplish things it feels like. I really enjoy using them, but it is

The only thing that makes it clear is if you actually keep the drow True Soul alive. He’ll outright say that the trap and collapsed tunnel completely cut him off from the temple, and that another Absolutist is also looking for an entrance from the other direction. That information should absolutely be available
