I’m unsure why the Prowler was never offered with a manual transmission.

Been there, done that and I’m the only one who thinks it’s funny.

Would you like some console with your touchscreen sir?

Depending on the miles you plan on putting on your buy-back TDI (and the model year), I would concerned about expensive post-warranty costs.

It *only* came with a 5 speed transmission and not a 6 speed. The “Hose from Hell” replacement that is essentially an engine out operation.

What’s old is new again. Long live mechanical switches, buttons, and dials!

Can confirm.

Good call. Niether would I.

Your comments immediately reminded me of one of my favorite Michael Scott moments...

Shouldn’t there be some mandatory safety equipment (i.e. battery kill switch) on any vehicle on the race track to prevent issues like this from happening?

This is a great breakdown. You get a star.

I’m assuming that would buy you a Harbor Freight quality lift. Not something I would trust my $35k car on...

Sounds kinky!

Almost looks like a scene from the Walking Dead

People also shit on Harleys because of HD engines leaking oil, er I mean marking their spot.

Private sale FTW. As long as the car is well cared for, it’s a win-win for both buyer and seller.

Would be cool if the $2k paint option came with maintenance free, indestructible clear coat...someday

Unpainted bumpers FTW. So much easier to live with knowing if you damage the bumper, another unpainted replacement should  only be a few hundred dollars away.

You made the right call selling it. CEL can be money pits.

2nd gear: I wish we could have a Toyota Hilux with a diesel engine in the USA. Shit, I would gladly take any of the offending units (especially if equipped with 3 pedals) from our Aussie friends, but then I couldn’t register it for 25 years...
