I doubt Weckler's a zombie, only because I don't think a guard would be able to strangle a zombie and live to tell about it.

Ducking autocorrect.

I didn't think the Weckler case felt unmoored at all. I think there are enough clues out there for fans to start speculating, which is fun. Personally, I think Weckler knew about zombies/Fillmore Graves (his own daughter is sucking down brain gogurt, after all) and the memory card may have footage of one D.A. Baracus*

Excited for the CW spinoff: Fabian the Virgin.

Looks like I wasn't the only one who was anticipating a flashback hook up with Dennis and Jane. But I don't think we're out of the woods yet. There seemed to be some romantic groundwork being applied outside the boxing ring…

But I think he could feel a connection to the image Jane provided in story, which is what I meant. And I'm pretty sure he'd ask about Michael at least once. Dude's picture is probably everywhere.

Jane isn't the only one who would be emotionally affected by Michael's death, so the writers are getting a C minus on the time jump/flashback storytelling until they show how Xiomara, Alba, Rogelio (definitely Rogelio) and Michael's parents grieved as well. Raf and Petra probably had their own unique grieving process

Maybe Michael's death was this metaphorical key to unlock some great, exciting new stories that the writers already mapped and brainstormed ages ago and that's why they didn't want to let themselves chicken out later when they were more attached.. Maybe I'm mistakenly defending bad writing. Time will tell.

Also, I kind of wish Jane had been pregnant. It would have made his death much crueler, but I think Michael deserved some kind of surviving legacy moving forward in the show. If Jane and Rafael are endgame and end as a happy family with their biological son, it will feel too… tidy. Michael raised and loved another

I have mixed feelings about Michael's death. Unlike some, I don't think it was done with the express purpose of a Jane/Rafael reunion. That would be a pretty cheap and frustrating move. It was just a classic telenovela shake up. I think Jennie made that point pretty clear. However, I'm annoyed that the foreshadowing

Floating a thought here…

Judging by the promo next week, I'm surprised they're glossing over how the Josh/Rebecca reconciliation is affecting her friendship with Valencia and skipping right ahead to Bunch family drama. Am I really supposed to believe that the woman who just last week committed a felony in the name of her unresolved feelings

I have yet to see a comment addressing Luke's Trish Walker shout out. Hellcat is officially in Hell's Kitchen, everybody.

I disagree about Rose's being back being a backwards move for the show. I'd take Bridget Regan a thousand times over some half-baked new crime lord reveal via long lost Solano uncle. I agree that the crime element is the weakest part of the show, but Sin Rose-tro has more gravity than the rest, at least. Plus, this

Now that Tai's idol is officially out of play, this is the first season in a long time where no immunity idol was used. Wow. And to think this was supposed to be the season of the Super Idol.

Glad you called out the virgin shaming. I was more than a little angry after reading that. (Of course, I see Ihnat's apology above, which is appreciated. I'd be more appreciative if it was edited into the review as well.)

I'm hoping Bridget Regan isn't done with this show yet. All the writers need to unwrite her death is the classic telenovela "Sin Rostro Hired Disposable Extra With Identical Plastic Surgery To Be A Hospital Decoy" explanation.

Crap. I didn't think of that. Uh… *sweats nervously* some telenovela twist in which Mutter swaps out Mateo's voice Ursula style for Anthony Mendez's?
