GoPro/Video or it didn’t happen.
It took me about 3 hours in a parking lot once on my buddy’s Wrangler. So I’m gonna say not hard.
Anecdotal, but in states like North Carolina where pre-1996 vehicles are only inspected visually for emissions equipment, there are other variables as well, and the so-called “testing” is bull. For example:
If it’s anything like the Fiero, the engine’s intake.
But that screws up the geometry a bit and you have to change the upper and lower arms along with if you’re super-serious about handling and not just looking for ride height alone.
It’s weird as hell, but works well. Hard to do a ride height change though.
It’s a single leaf mounted transversely to minimize unsprung weight on the rear suspension and maximize suspension response times, resulting in better rear traction around curves than a three-link rear setup with coilovers could ever hope for.
Came here for this. Was not disappointed.
1980 CX500 Turbo. I know this isn’t a car, but it’s automotive. Nothing, nothing, spool, no bike under you anymore. It’s a shame I’m “pending” though, so nobody’s gonna see this one. :’(
Since I can’t edit: Looks like I may have been wrong about all-black. Seems like the black-radar-absorbing-paint thing was only on the top near the engines because of the way they stick out compared to the F22’s. Which completely negates what I’ve said, so.... uhm, yeah, that’s a thing. Sorry guys!
I did, but I haven’t updated since I bought the ‘88 cradle to put everything on middle of last year. Life is in the way at the moment and the project is stalled (for the umpteenth time.) Once the girlfriend moves in and we’re sharing bills, we should both be able to work on our respective cars more easily by pooling…
Running, yes. Running well? I wish. Driving? Not for a while. I need a new fuel pump (Iron Duke’s stock fuel pump won’t run an LE5, who knew? /s), need to fix some wiring issues, brakes need done on all four corners, I’m looking into an Arraut Motorsports front slalom suspension replacement and I need to do the…
Did you see the way they were dressed for school? They were asking for it. /s
It’s funny you use the word ‘bravado’ when it’s a Bravada’s driver that nearly killed those kids.
One of the reasons it wasn’t chosen is because of its black color being a requirement for its stealth. This limits it almost entirely to night missions, as black would show up VERY brightly visually in a day sky. The F22’s shape-based stealth and as a result, more neutral coloring made it favorable because it could…
Airlines would likely still cram people in there like sardines anyway, and those lounge areas/the ability to get up and walk around would still not be a thing.
To be fair, the secrets of the effective merge are too esoteric for most Americans in general.
So much this. Seriously, /fuck/ 40. I’d almost rather drive the Belt Parkway at rush hour in NY. It doesn’t help that 40 is a cluster of potholes large enough to swallow a Miata whole, grooved sections of lane that will even jerk a big-rig’s steering wheel in a direction, a bunch of non-standard interchanges (where it…
As a former resident of Long Island and commuter into the City:
Came to post this, but I’m still in the grey, so it would’ve been ignored. This. So much this. It could’ve been such a better car, but transmission issues, electrical issues and it being overweight all sort of nerfed it out of the gate.
