Similar to the C6 Z06, I am sure the stock Z06 aero package adds some significant drag - even more than the C6 Z did. There are a several vents and body pieces that are designed to cool or add downforce that the previous generation simply did not have to overcome.

Too much drag! The C7 Z06 is probably better suited to track conditions than straight line power. I suppose it depends on how hot it gets though... definitely waiting to see how this continues to play out.
