Counterpoint: Dude is being completely upfront about how dangerous it is and trying to cut his losses.
That livery.... I need a cigarette.
I loved that car in Gran Turismo. It was the most out of control ridiculous yet fun car in the game.
Just so people are aware, this is a Tool lyric, circa 1996.
Ford engineers addressed this point, saying the transmission can indeed skip gears.
He was probably resisting.
Well obviously the driver of the Infiniti was being threatening in some way or another. Cops don’t just act out for no reason, there’s always something justifiable for their actions.
I tried so so hard to please you Jalopnik... But alas, I live in the U.S. And all I could do was replicate her...
She should have just plead ignorance. “Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorance on this thing because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that this sort of thing was frowned upon...”
Congrats, your stupid design cost my local Jeep dealer a sale this past winter.
I’m sorry, but I’ve been driving forever, have taken multiple racing schools, have driven just about everything, and my 2014 GC shifter is awkward. After it started to roll down the driveway once, I learned. Why it does not have a “position” for each gear is mind boggling. I love the car, and now I fully get it, but…
This is going to hurt but that design you spent three years working on is dumb. I know it sucks when you have something you think is awesome and some one shits all over it but this is one of those times.
IMHO, the author of the peice is the only person who should ever “this” a reply. Perhaps the Reply was a point missed in the original peice. Perhaps the reply expanded the or augmented the data or intent of the peice.
This in no way contradicts my writing. I called out that the dude shouldn’t have gotten into it with the riders and I agree that drivers shouldn’t get upset or respond when a bike passes them doing something they dont like.
This is why motorcycles are so cool.
it depends on your offroading, but unless you’re desert racing, independent suspension is most certainly NOT better in most cases.
*whispers* Dude, just say you’re sorry for all the...unpleasantness.
So this’ll probably get lost in the mess of comments.
My dad has the Triumph Tiger Explorer, and it’s his all arounder.
