I'm mentally 8 years old, so I'll be watching the movie eventually anyway

Sorry Matt, I'm not buying that. Just how does it empower? Certainly not with a system that's ever more arcane and successful in hiding comments and in making threads brutally non-obvious. I have experimented with Tiger...I open threads and for the love of God I have no idea what the hell I opened. I try to follow

Still haven't seen the issue fixed where when viewing the main Jalopnikk, Gizmodo, or similar site while on a mobile device under the new layout the pictures associated with most stories don't appear.

The biggest issue I've noticed on mobile is that almost no pictures don't show up when I'm scrolling through the list of new articles. At least, this happens on my Droid DNA. They work fine in the actual article.

It's just as an iPhone user, and as a mobile user, I find it greatly beneficial to know where everything is. With this new layout, there's something on the side that I can drag around the screen like a dot. And then when I tap it, it does something. Who needs that? Why do we need that when what we have currently works

I'm thinking...no, he hasn't.

I got used to the current format, and it's not bad, but I really don't like the new version they are going to put out. It's even worse than this current form. I don't understand why it needs changing. Again.

Well, it was nice commenting with you guys.

I fucking love cocaine!

United Airlines Flight 857. Passengers experienced nearly three delays of delays during an unscheduled mechanical stop, stranded in Anchorage, AK.

Alessi should be banned for life. Brock could have been seriously injured or worse if that crash ends differently. The attack was pre-meditated, there is no doubt about it. He intentionally took a terrible line through the corner before accellerating directly at Brock. The tell tale sign for me was that he didn't turn

I'm beginning to suspect that people are using patriotic imagery to cover up their short comings, whether it's spilling tons of chemicals into peoples drinking water or singing terribly.

I was at my old high school earlier this fall for a soccer game and they played this before the game. Everyone in the crowd was absolutely mortified and the visitors stands all had a look of "where the fuck are we" on their face. It was the most embarrassing thing I have ever been apart of. I sat on the visitors side

Yep. Because it's exactly what they intended to do with it. Or to it.

Nope, they should be humiliated, this is junk.

I agree, lots of great points in this discussion. As someone starting to work on automatic transmission calibration, it's interesting to see the impact that regulations are having in the industry - there's a growing disparity between real-world and sticker FE, but I believe the industry understands and respects that

I'm fine with taxing fuel instead of some other metric. Hell, the money could go to our crippling infrastructure.

"I'd much rather prefer the German method of putting the responsibility on the consumer rather than the producer, and tax people on the car the drive based on engine size, emissions output, or even mileage estimates."

President Obama is expected to announce today that his team will begin working on new, tighter, fuel regulations for medium and heavy duty vehicles. This is a promise from the state of the union address, where he said that he wanted to reduce our dependence on oils and what we pay at the pump.
