Dude, no, this. This right here. This woman is willfully naive, probably because she’s never faced any real adversity. How could she possibly anticipate that this would backfire spectacularly if she’s been in this little safe cocoon surrounded by only positive people her entire life?

Seriously. These women seem honestly pretty awful (I mean “we will not apologize for that because we love you enough to give you this gift,” fucking gag me with a spoon) but I really hate how quickly people on the internet jump to threats of violence.

I’m halfway torn between “this has got to be a hoax/some sort of publicity stunt because nobody could be this oblivious” and “it’s amazing how easily people believe their own bullshit when they’re blinded by the dollar signs in their eyes.”

I have surrounded myself with positive people for 34 years and I don’t plan on changing it now.

I like how they said that only “positive” reviews” would show up, which I assume means that you can give a rating of five stars with the comment “everyone hates you, go kill yourself” and the app will let it sail through.

So they don’t think that the internet is an endless torrent of anonymous hate streaming from behind a billion computer screens, even while they are bombarded by anonymous hate sent from a billion computer screens.

God, it must really be awful for those creators to have a bunch of people on the internet making assumptions about their intentions and criticizing them publicly. Good thing it’s only on twitter though, imagine if there was a whole app, just for that!

This terrifies me. Its already difficult to leave the house on account of my gigantic anxiety disorder. I already think everyone is judging me every time I walk down the street, but THIS? Oh Jeez. It makes me shaky even thinking about it!

I just assumed that Peeple was viral marketing for season 3 of Silicon Valley.
