It’s actually the kind of deflectory issue that carries some weight with voters since some will feel that a representative that does not live in their district cannot understand their issues. Most of those voters have likely never seen how Gerrymandered most congressional districts are.

It’s dumb but US airlines will no longer let you sit anywhere in economy if there are empty seats. I presume this is a partial truth since they’re counting the Santa Rally that started after election night. That said that run-up was due to a very misguided belief that Trump was actually competent, and there is a very good reason the stock markets have been going sideways the past few weeks.
