“Remember the mane!”
Corrupt Latin and South American legal systems have never had qualms about locking tourists up, and then milking them dry financially while extracting a metaphorical pound of flesh. It’s going to be interesting watching that institution butt heads with an IOC that is desperately trying to have the legacy of these…
Hard to believe that’s its been almost 9 years since the seminal release of The Orange Box. Where does the time go? If anything is still in development at least Valve has had the good sense to keep mum about it and spare the franchise from a Duke Nukem Forever-type fiasco.
It’s funny because most Canadians, given the opportunity, will actually align themselves with the Western European country their ancestors came from if the funding and training are better there.
This is one of the few things George Lucas admits he goofed on when doing the prequels.
Either is acceptable, of course. Canadian English is a pretty bastardized combination of British and American spelling.
This post is going to be very retrospectively tragic when Burneko is inevitably laid off by the new ownership.
Jesus, the Indians and the Sox are fighting for their playoff lives and you think they’re just going to serve up some runs so it will cost some shitsack team they really need to win against money?
Hopefully he doesn’t go horse from all that crying.
The reality stone is actually powering the Bifrost in Asgard. It is well protected but not sitting around in a dusty vault.
This disdain for the infinity stones has been showing up in some of the articles I’ve been reading this weekend about the renaming of the next two Avengers movies. I don’t think people hate the infinity stones so much as sided with Joss Whedon over him being forced to include that pointless Thor tangent in Age of…
The tesseract is powering the bifrost Asgard (poorly explained in The Dark World but can be deduced from what is there). It’s likely not going to show up again until Thanos starts rounding them up (which admittedly could be in Ragnarok).
... It WAS an infinity war prologue. It is, in fact, possibly the only reason the movie got greenlit to begin with. That it has become one of the more successful franchises in the MCU is just gravy.
The 12 that died in Munich died due to incompetence...
What are you talking about, those are the athlete dormitories.
Do you not understand what “saving face” means? What embarrassment are they saving themselves from by extending the free upgrade in perpetuity, whether by explicit or implicit means?
What do they need to save face for? Considering they were forcing on people as a critical update, it’s clear they want as many old machines on Windows 10 as possible. Hell, if they ever extend this offer to old XP machines I would upgrade mine in a heartbeat.
Because there is always one employee that will take a mile if you give them an inch. There is always someone in your office who would be show up in something you would find offensive if given the opportunity.
But the pips are on the correct side? So confused.
The mob would have had the decency to build livable units at 5 times the cost and then strip them bare over time after the games ended.
