I know the strap with the thumb nub was included with the original DS, but was it ever included with the systems after that? I don’t remember the DS light or DSi including it and I’m certain none of my 3DS included one (I’m in the U.S., maybe this was different for other territories). I have one from an original DS so

The man has opinions, and he likes to share them. That’s a hell of a lot worse than Bill Hynes.

Rally history is weird with different manufacturer’s and driver’s championships. Before his first WRC win in 74 he had multiple other prominent victories like the Safari Rally and London-Mexico World Cup.

No, each manufacturer will have different bodywork, but they have to use the same bodywork package for all races. No switching between high downforce packages at some tracks and low drag packages at others.

It seems like it’s been that way for years. The CBS Sports Channel number is close to NBC Sports on DirecTV, so when F1 was on NBC I would sometimes see the BTCC races listed on the guide and catch them that way.

Is the BTCC info correct? It isn’t showing up on DirecTV.

I suspect that’s the arcade version of Contra. It’s been available on XBLA and as part of Hamster’s Arcade Archives series before. As far as I know NES Contra has never been made available digitally and the only rerelease since the NES that I know of was when it was included as an unlock in Contra 4 on the DS.

But this seems to be all user created content not just mods. Plenty of games allow users to create content without uploading to Nexus, etc. Think about trying to monitor custom logos created for Forza or WWE games.

Is there any meaningful difference between the aeroscreen and a halo with a windscreen tacked on? The center pillar design of the Halo seems to be the better solution in terms of visibility and protection to me; and, if aeroscreen type windscreens turn out to work, couldn’t those screens be used around the single

It looks like only single Animal Crossing amiibo are eligible.

Never mind, they have classic controller plugs and the ports are hidden behind the mini SNES controller ports.

They are wired and plug into the console with classic controller style plugs. The controller ports are hidden behind the SNES controller ports.

Do the controllers not use the classic controller connections like the NES classic controllers? Those look like the regular SNES controller ports on the front of the console, but I assume they’re much smaller. I don’t see any usb ports or anything else that the controllers would connect to. That’s disappointing if

How does Shovel Knight feel when playing with the Joy-con d-pad? I play a lot of Virtual Console and other 2D games on my 3DS, but I can’t imagine how they will feel with a 4-button d-pad. I haven’t gotten my hands on a Switch yet, but I’ve been wanting to hear what people think of that d-pad.

I know Zelda and 1-2 Switch probably hardly use the d-pad, but do you have any thoughts about how the joycon d-pad feels when attached to the screen like a portable? I play a lot of Virtual Console and other 2-d games like Shovel Knight on 3DS, but it is hard for me to imagine playing those with that 4-button d-pad.

I like the idea of a portable library of my favorite Nintendo games, but I can’t imagine it feels good to play games with that 4-button “d-pad” in portable mode.
