somehow…
I feel like we're "Something About Mary-ing" this whole last show business…

Pregnant people. Sigh.
Also, what's the deal with the Action Movie score?
As much as I love Letterman
Paul Schaffer's insistence on repeating everything, and I mean EVERYTHING Dave says, renders the show unwatchable. It's like a tourrette's tick now. Even during the monologue. Which is supposed to be just the host speaking. There's fucking Paul repeating every joke like one of those…
I agree. I get that he's talking from the POV of a lot of comedians, but it sounds a little accusatory from his POV as well. I'm not defending Jay, but, so what if he's healthy? What? Only neurotic, self destructive people can be funny? Eh, no.
I miss more references to Max's questionable sexual practices.
This show…
Actually served to escalate a fight between me and my spouse. We were arguing and this asshole was on in the backgroud doing his annoying monologue. It culminated in me going "WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THIS FUCKING SHOW???" in the middle of the fight and quickly changing the channel.
I think it's more to do with the nobility of retirement, the tradition of passing the torch and how Leno'sterrible prime time show makes him look like a petulant brat. Why would the network hand over the Tonight Show to Conan if Leno hadn't been willing to say he'd give it up himself? I mean, why fix something…
So,
This is the second time in a short amount of time we've seen a Smoove B-esque Hater entry.
He's wearing
…a homespun looking sweater. He must be Irish!
I don't want to sound queer or anything,
But this review kicked ass.
Nope, he planned to kill the entire Parliament. Both Houses were in session that day.
Hmmm…another example of the undercutting is when the housekeeper comes in and she says "I've been saving this for a divorce if ever I got a husband."
Meryn Cadell
The Cat Carol.
No, he came in with Oscar to a party and then Oscar was like "Um, nevermind" and they walked out.
RE: Angela and the material.
Well
Considering that most of you were 12 when this movie came out, it's understandable that there's a lot lost on you.
It's a good film. And did much to pioneer visual effects in traditionally narrative genres.
Good points, although, now it does seem as though they're just getting abusive about it.
I don't know, I tend to agree. In the first seasons it was easy to sympathize with Jim and Pam…"strangers in a strange land" and how they seemed a little trapped in that role. Now, it seems they are just too savvy to stick around in that environment, which in turn begs the question…are they themselves so insecure…
Whatever.
I liked it.
