Me and the hubby were trying to save money so we weren’t going to do engagement pics. When we hired a friend/photographer to do our wedding photos, he offered to “throw” in an engagement shoot. Done! It was nice to have the pictures for the wedding website and we used some for décor at the wedding.

I love Neal’s podcast with Moshe Kasher (The Champs). I wish they would record more frequently!

I accepted a new job when I was 6 weeks pregnant and I was too scared to ask what the maternity leave policy was in the interview. Turns out they didn’t have one! Screwed myself with that one. The only good thing is that I got a significant pay bump with the new job so I can afford to take a few months off unpaid.

I went on a fitness plan for my wedding this past August. Started Turbo Fire (beachbody program) in March and lost 20 pounds by June. My husband and I are using a travel agent for our honeymoon. We’re staying at Sandals so it’s nothing too complex but it has still made the planning process less work for us.

Amen! I had severe nausea weeks 6-12ish and I craved cereal and orange juice. Almost everything else made me sick to my stomach. My SIL has had 2 kids and didn’t have morning sickness at all. Everyone is soo different when it comes to pregnancy. Best for people to keep the advice to themselves unless asked.
