An October 2017 date should get you Android N, and Android O, and the security updates for 3 years after that.. That’s not too shabby.

Well hell. I *just* switched to Google Fi a month and a half ago, and bought a 6P on the two-year plan, and this is telling me that it’ll (likely) stop receiving updates well before I finish paying it off. Thanks guys, that really makes me feel loved.
