Aw, this isnt a good way to start out the day!
Yeah, that MASSIVE propeller and the inverted gull-wing airfoil design. And I love that the reason for the unique design (the wing shape) came about because they had fitted such a massive motor and propeller to the airframe and needed the extra ground clearance.
When you sit back and look at it, it seems like a good idea. I mean, youve already flown you aircraft over to wherever, might as well drop down and see what sort of stuff you can take out on your way home.
That’s either an AU-1/F4U-7 or its an F4U-1C (unlikely because not many of those were made).
Ooh, thanks for that lol!
I was so thinking the same thing. I just want to hear more of that P&W R2800 Double Wasp in the Corsair...
Ford Falcon GT from Australia? Those are impressive RWD sedans...
And, if any other companies figured it out, when did it happen and how was it dealt with?
Im inclined to partially (and mostly) agree actually.
Sounds like other companies are taking up the slack to produce the required parts. Buddy of mine works at an Autoliv plant and he said that they have been producing massive amounts of inflaters for the recall effort. He also said that their stock prices have risen a good deal since Takata announced all this crap.
I actually LOL’D at that.
Great race! First time I’ve actively watched it. Definitely going to keep up with it from now on! Got lucky though, being in Ireland for work, I was able to watch the entire thing live. Next year, might not be so lucky if I'm back in the states :-(
Looks like I have another blog to bookmark!
Not a half bad idea...
Nobody in the UK gives a fuck because they lost the war. Why would they celebrate that? Every other country that has declared independence from what is now the UK celebrates their victories in their own way. Some were through war, most were not.
Nice! I was hoping someone would post a video of it!
Especially after a couple years and the plastic chrome has started to yellow...
