C&C4 was the end of a great series of games. They raped and molested that game with their unneeded new mechanics. If it was a new game without history it wouldn’t be much a problem. ( it would still be subpar though). I tried to like it, but I just couldn’t. Why waste a good game that needed only a few modernisations?

I too was hoping for a real remake into the new engine while keeping all the inner workings pretty much the same. Why keep it in the old style? Besides nostalgia it has little value.. oh well, i’ll pass and play the original then. Who needs 4K on a PC screen anyway.

Oh I was overreacting a bit, there are ofcourse some good and emotionally pleasing fights. Of which some you mentioned. But I still think the fights were something more of fluff and not what the story was all about for me. Maybe I grew out of it?
