I had a Jeep with a 1969 Chevy small block swapped in. Eventually I just started saying I drove a 1969 BelAir if I needed spark plugs or engine parts.

Imitating an accent for the sake of treating another culture as a joke is probably racist. But apparently this meme keeps going with explicitly racist jokes. So.

Yes, I’m sure a YouTube video with an unrelated “angry feminist” meme in the thumbnail will have a very reasoned approach to racism.

It’s the type of joke that would have played better 5 years ago. I think it seems awkward because we’re in a transitional phase where we’re still trying to figure out what’s appropriate and what isn’t. On the surface this doesn’t SEEM offensive, but you wouldn’t exactly feel comfortable showing it to a gay friend.

That is a goose. Also those are not the right kind of shoes for that bird (or any bird).

Ducks (and geese and chickens) may also need boots too. If you walk them on concrete or other hard surface a lot, they can get foot issues, plus ducks loose a lot of body heat from their feet. Oddly, the duck shoes are easier to get on and off and provide some padding.
