@fallenshell: I think somehow my idea of wearing pants got misconstrued. Comfortable khakis count as pants in my world. "Onesie" pajamas - not so much.

@mawcs: That makes sense. Pants don't necessary have to be uncomfortable. I'm actually more comfortable in some of microfiber pants than anything else

Seems like it would be cheaper to buy 8 ounces of 80+ SPF and then dilute it with the cheapest lotion you can find. Add 24 ounces of zero SPF and you'll still have 32 ounces of 20 SPF lotion.

Hmm, only about a year after it was on WebOS. Not bad Apple ;-).

Seems to me the answer is go with the Palm webOS devices like the Pre or Pre Plus.

I don't know if it's cool to leave a comment like this (Editors: please delete if it's not okay), but I had posted 16 Thoughts on Oprah's Standford speech about a week before this... adding some commentary behind the speech. It was great to be able to see it in person.

I want to say that this is a great company. I've talked to Mr. Lin in person, and it's on the up and up. I have been a member now for two months and it's great at tracking my credit score.

I'm sure it's like anything, a little practice goes a long way. Maybe if you get good at it, you can start a little business doing it for other people.

You could have done all this about 1-2 years ago with uLocate's [Where.com] service with many phones.

As much as I try, paperless always has the downfall of not being able to grab my attention for irregular, "unschedulable" payments like credit card bills. Some credit card companies allow you to autopay, but others do not simply because they want you to forget.

Yeah, this fix crashed my Firefox repeatedly. It would be nice if the developers of Firefox allowed for a way to test each plugin individually and back it out if it has a problem. I just know now that some combination of the 20+ plugins I have from my FF2 profile won't work... time to try one by one I guess.

Logical Extremes makes good points... recognizing that, here's my seven words:

@czarandy: I've heard good things about Yodlee. I just remember them before they were just financially related... we are going back to 1999-2000 or so when I signed up with them. I stopped going there and using them when they stopped aggregating all sorts of websites like multiple e-mail accounts and the like.

I look forward to the day when Mint (or a similar application - maybe MoneyStrands) offers a complete financial tracking package. It's unusual to me to be a personal finance application and just adding investments in private beta now.

The cheapest way to buy a car is to find one that depreciates really quickly. Buy it used and let someone else pay the cost of depreciation.

I've never been good at budgeting either. I simply ask myself if I really need what I am buying. Most of the time I don't, so I don't buy it. Once a month or so, I buy one item (usually around $100-200) that is "my toy" for the month.

If you really want to save money on a car, buy one that has horrible resale value... just buy it used and let someone else pay that steep depreciation.

I have to give another vote to Crimson Editor. I'm not sure if it's too full featured to qualify, but it runs fast.

It's easy to say get over the urge to read everything, but it's extremely difficult to do. What if I miss the next great life-altering tip because it's buried in the fourth paragraph. You'd be surprised how many times I've found good thoughts and tips there.

I never thought to do it with my credit card numbers, but I have a document on my Treo that just has frequent flyer numbers and the like on it.
