I get all this so much. I get shook to the core when people are like “1999 was 2 decades ago” now. 

I took part in an interview for a young lady born in 2003 the other day. First time I’ve come face to face with someone where I am technically old enough to be their mother. I swear I only left high school a few years ago!!! Okay, 2001. Fuck.

About a decade ago my mom, in a burst of nostalgia, took our whole family to Disney World a few years ago.
